Groundramon Overview (In-Game Profile)
An Earth Dragon Digimon with huge arms on its back. These arms, which are said to have transformed from wings, allow Groundramon to dig through the earth efficiently. It usually lies hidden in tunnels it’s bored deep underground, and seldom shows its face on the surface.
Groundramon likes living in veins of rare Huanglong Ore, and in fact, the scales covering its body are very likely composed of the same material. Its personality is quite brutal, and most who encounter it wind up losing their lives.
Groundramon uses its special move, Scrapless Claw, to crush enemies with its back arms.

Where to Find Groundramon
Groundramon cannot be found while exploring the Human or Digital Worlds. To add Groundramon as a partner in Digimon Story Time Stranger, you’ll need to digivolve a lower-generation Digimon or de-digivolve a higher-generation Digimon into Groundramon. Refer to the Groundramon Digivolution section below for more information.
Groundramon Digivolution
Digivolution is the process that allows your Digimon to grow stronger and unlock new forms. Each Digivolution path has specific requirements, such as reaching a certain level, achieving a minimum stat threshold, or meeting personality and bond conditions.
Some Digimon also require special items or story progression to evolve. Choosing when and how to Digivolve is essential, since certain evolutions may branch into multiple options, giving you flexibility in shaping your partner’s role in battle.
De-Digivolution
In Digimon Story Time Stranger, de-digivolution allows you to return a Digimon to a previous form. Unlike standard digivolution, which requires stat thresholds and level milestones, de-digivolution has its own conditions. To de-digivolve a Digimon, one of the following requirements must be met:
- Encounter requirement: The Target Digimon must have already been encountered at least once during your playthrough.
- Personality requirement: The Target Digimon’s base Personality must match the current Digimon’s Personality.
Meeting either condition will unlock the option to de-digivolve, giving you more flexibility in reshaping your team and experimenting with different evolutionary paths.

Digivolution
Digivolution is the process of evolving a Digimon into a stronger form. Each Digimon can evolve along multiple branches depending on its stats, level, and personality. To digivolve a Digimon, you must meet certain requirements.
