How to Start the Food Theft Quest
To begin the Food Theft side quest in Avowed, speak with Sielo Piannini, who can be found north of the Farmers’ Market Beacon in Maxim’s Claim.
Food Theft Walkthrough
Sielo, one of Fior’s many struggling farmers, had his last harvest stolen. He blames “bandits” for the theft. Track the culprits down and retrieve the ill-gotten crops.
Retrieve the Stolen Crops
Travel to the Riverside Cave and enter the cave next to the Riverside Cave Beacon. Once inside, head through the camp and speak with Erlinn Matishell about the food stolen from the farmers. She’ll admit that they took it, and you’ll have a few options on how to proceed.
Let them keep the food
You’ll get 350 gold from Erlinn. Return to Sielo, who will give you nothing.
Attack them and take the food
An attack will make everyone in the cave hostile. Take them all out then return to Sielo. If you take the reward, you’ll receive 350 gold. If you do not accept the reward, he’ll give you the Forager’s Friend unique item.
Work out a compromise: You get medicine for the wife and they keep the food
We thought this was the best option as both sides get a little something!
Erlinn will give you nothing but gratitude. Return to Sielo. If you take the reward, you’ll receive 350 gold. If you do not accept the reward, he’ll give you the Forager’s Friend unique item.
Afterward, the Food Theft side quest will complete.
