Fire Emblem Engage Divine Paralogue Guide

Before you can tackle the other Divine Paralouges, you’ll need to clear the Ancestor one first. This will introduce Alear to Tiki, who will then lead them to the other Emblems.

The Ancestor – Dragon Temple (Tiki Divine Paralogue)

Travel to the Dragon Temple to trigger an event where you’ll meet Tiki. To secure her aid, Alear will need to prove themselves in battle by defeating her.

Victory Conditions

  • Win: Defeat Emblem Tiki
  • Lose: Alear is defeated

Map Overview

This battle takes place at a large temple with multiple side rooms and a central hallway. Your party starts in the southwestern corner of the temple grounds and must fight their way into the temple to reach Tiki, who is sealed away in the rightmost room. To reach her, you’ll need to activate two magic seals located in the middle and left rooms of the temple. Each seal opens access to the next room, ultimately allowing you to challenge Tiki and her reinforcements.

Seal Mechanic: Opening the Temple

  • To reach Tiki, you must activate two seals:
    • First seal: Found in the middle room. Standing on it unlocks the left room.
    • Second seal: Located in the left room. Activating it opens the right room, where Tiki and her allies are.
    • Note: Stepping on either seal will cause some temple floor tiles to turn into ice, which increases unit movement across those areas. Use this to reposition quickly through the temple as you progress.
  • Once the second seal is activated, Tiki and her allies will begin moving to engage you.

Courtyard Enemies & Terrain Hazards

  • Two buildings sit on either side of the temple entrance, each with enemies stationed on their rooftops.
    • Bring Chloé or another flying unit to reach and eliminate these threats early.
  • A lake sits outside the temple, between the left and middle rooms.
    • On the left side of the lake is a shiny patch that hides a Silver Card.
      • The Silver Card gives a 30% discount at shops in the Somniel.
    • To reach it:
      • On foot: Go far east and follow the counterclockwise path around the temple.
      • With staves: Use the Warp stave (from a chest) to teleport a unit near the lake, then use the Rewarp stave (dropped by an enemy in the first seal room) to bring them back.
      • You’ll need a Martial Monk or staff user to utilize both staves.

Enemy Reinforcements

  • After stepping on the first seal, enemies will continuously spawn from the temple entrance and move inward.
    • These reinforcements respawn indefinitely, so station a durable unit or strong group to hold them off while you progress.

Boss Strategy – Emblem Tiki

  • Once the right room opens, Tiki and her allied units will begin advancing.
  • Be ready with a prepared party positioned to intercept and isolate her for an easier takedown.
  • Flying Unit (e.g., Chloé): Useful for clearing rooftop enemies quickly.
  • Archer (e.g., Etie): Critical for dealing with dragons that appear during the battle.
  • Martial Monk or Staff User: Needed to use Warp and Rewarp staves for Silver Card retrieval.
  • Tanky Units or Area Control: Ideal for holding the temple entrance and managing the endless reinforcements.

WarpLooted from a chest in the western seal room.

The Brash General – Berserker’s Hollow (Hector Divine Paralogue)

Travel to the Berserker’s Hollow and begin the chapter where you’ll be introduced to Emblem Hector. To secure his aid, you’ll need to defeat him in battle.

Victory Conditions

  • Win: Defeat Emblem Hector
  • Lose: Alear is defeated

Map Overview

This battle unfolds in a poison-filled canyon called Berserker’s Hollow. You’ll start in the southeastern corner, while Hector awaits in the northwestern corner of the map. The battlefield is littered with armored units, mages, and thieves who will attempt to loot the four chests scattered across the area. Poison-spewing walls block paths and deal damage over time, forcing strategic movement. Your party can split up to tackle different objectives—some heading toward the treasure, while others push toward Hector. Be ready for an aggressive push once you’re within ten tiles of Hector, as he will begin to advance.

You can bring up to 8 units for this battle. Here’s how to prepare:

  • Bring Mages: The map contains many armored units, so magic is essential for cutting through their defense.
  • Bring Martial Monks: Thieves and enemy Mages are common here, making monks a strong counter option thanks to high Res and Break potential.
  • Split Squad Setup: Divide your team into two balanced groups of four:
    • Group 1: Head north to intercept the chest in the northeastern corner
    • Group 2: Head west toward Hector, ideally led by Alear

    Map Hazards & Enemy Mechanics

    • Poison Fog Walls:
      • These activate as you move deeper into the map, blocking paths and damaging units that pass through.
      • These can slow your advance and put weakened units at risk.
    • Martial Monks/Qi Adepts:
      • Scattered throughout the map.
      • They can break your units during the enemy’s turn, so stay aware of their range.
    • Thieves:
      • Move quickly and prioritize stealing from chests.
      • Taking them out before they escape is crucial for collecting all the loot.

    Boss Strategy – Emblem Hector

    • Hector is stationary at first, but will begin moving once you’re within 10 squares.
    • He is a skilled axe user, capable of dealing significant damage, especially to units with low defense.
    • Bring a sword user or someone with strong defensive stats to handle him.
    • Prepare to finish the map soon after he begins moving, as additional enemies may converge.

    Tips for Success

    • Control the Map: Eliminate Thieves early to avoid losing loot and prevent being flanked.
    • Use Terrain & Range Wisely: Poison fog can be a threat, but also a way to funnel enemies into kill zones.
    • Antitoxins Are Your Friend: Collect and distribute Antitoxins regularly for safe passage.
    • Don’t Overextend: The fog and enemy positioning encourage methodical progress rather than rushing.

      • Important: All three crystals must be destroyed in the same turn or they will regenerate.

    Special Mechanics

    • Tile Change Mechanic:
      • As you approach the crystals, Chrom and Robin will turn a portion of the map’s tiles to water, impacting movement.
      • This triggers more enemy reinforcements, including casters who can hit units near the east and west crystals

      • Cavalry | Archer | Martial Monk | Armored
