How to Start the Finale: The Rings Sealed Away Quest
After defeating the masters of wealth, power, and fame, the Finale: The Rings Sealed Away quest in Octopath Traveler 0 will automatically begin.
Finale: The Rings Sealed Away Walkthrough
So you defeated the three greatest villains in the realm, the masters of wealth, power, and fame, and brought peace to their hometown. It is then that a Knight Ardante appears before you.
Go home and see Stia
With all the masters defeated, return to Wishvale and speak with Stia near the workshop. During the cutscene, you’ll meet Sazantos the Flameguard.
Speak with Sazantos
Once you gain control, exit the village via the south to reach Wishvale Trail, where you’ll encounter Sazantos. Approach him to trigger a cutscene, which will end in a fight!

After you prove yourself to Sazantos, agree to seal away the three rings. You’ll then acquire Sazantos as a new companion! He is the master of all conceivable arts of the battlefield and uses a sword as a weapon. His battle skills consist of the following:
- Aggressive Slash – Unleash 3 sword attacks on random foes
- Radiant Light – Unleash 3 light attacks on random foes
Go to Rippletide in the Coastlands
To reach Rippletide in the Coastlands Region, you’ll need to pass through the following areas:
Once you arrive in Rippletide, speak with the man next to the docked ship.
Speak with the Knight Ardante
Make sure to check out our Isle of Orsa Area Guide for treasure chests, Elite Enemies, and enemy weaknesses!
When you are ready to set sail to The Isle of Orsa, speak with the knight again. After you arrive, travel through the Isle of Orsa: Depths to reach the Isle of Orsa: Depths. In this area, head to the northern part to reach the Isle of Orsa: Altar. Once here, approach the two maidens to trigger a cutscene followed by a boss fight.
Boss Fight: Ring-Sealed Beast
For this fight, you will face the Ring-Sealed Beast!
If you have someone in your party with the Steal ability, you can steal Protective Cuffs from the Ring-Sealed Beast!

| Flame of Ruination | Wipes out the entire front row |
| Repeated Flames of Nil | Hits the front row with fire attacks two times |
Boss Tips
- When it prepares, it boosts its physical attack for its next attack.
- Make sure to break the boss when it begins the Countdown to Ruin!
Head to the docks
After the battle, head back to the docks to trigger a cutscene. When the cutscene concludes, so will the quest.
