Visages Area Collectibles & Noteworthy Tasks
Visages – Entrance
Colour of Lumina
After entering the area, follow that path until you reach the first giant face in the rock. This item will be on the ground to its right.
Visages – Plaza
Blooraga the Merchant
The merchant is located just past the rest point. You can purchase the Healing Share Pictos from it, among other things. You can buy the Sadon weapon for Sciel if you beat it in a fight.
1470 Chroma
From the rest point facing the merchant, take the right path. You’ll have to climb across a couple of ledges to reach a cave area. The chroma is just before the giant face at the end.
Fading Man
Head down the path past the merchant, and you’ll come across the Fading Man.
Visages – Joy Vale
Healing Tint Shard
Starting at the rest point, follow along the right wall and up the hill to reach this shard.
2940 Chroma
Back at the rest point, follow along the left wall, passing all of the wooden mannequins to see this chroma near a tree.
Journal – Expedition 69 – Visages
With the tree and rock wall behind you, head straight and take a left after going up the slight incline to see the journal.
Mime
Continue heading along the path, hugging the left side to see the mine behind the tree near the ledge. You’ll receive the Baguette outfit and haircut for Verso.
Resplendent Chroma Catalyst
Along the main path, heading towards the face, there will be a side path along the right side. This catalyst will be near the beginning of the path at the feet of a wooden mannequin.
Confident Fighter Pictos
Continue following the path to the end. When it swings right, you’ll reach the Pictos, which is under the red tree.
Confuso Weapon for Verso
Just before the giant face, there will be another side path on the left, past a tree. Take it to find the weapon. As you approach it, a Nevron will jump down to attack you.
Visages – Anger Vale
Resplendent Chroma Catalyst
At the rest point, turn around and go up the hill to reach the catalyst.
2940 Chroma
Starting at the rest point, look for the giant faces and the statue next to them. Head between the two and follow the path left to claim the chroma.
Revive Tint Shard
Head past the giant statue on the left side, then climb up on the ledge where the Nevrons are fighting. The shard will be on the ground in the middle of them.
Door to the Manor
Head to the right side when you get to the big area with the giant angry face. You’ll find a cave there on a side path. Head inside and to the right to arrive at the Manor door. Head inside for the Verso music record and Journal – Unknown – The Manor.
Double Burn Pictos
Back in the Visages cave, head back to the entrance but take the other path to see the pictos in the middle of some enemies.
Resplendent Chroma Catalyst
When you exit the cave, take a right and follow the side path to end. The catalyst can be found in an old crate.
Powered Attack Pictos
Just before the giant angry face, there will be a path on the left next to a giant rock with a string of rocks jetting out. Head down that path to reach the pictos. An enemy will guard it.
Visages – Sadness Vale
2940 Chroma
From the rest point, swing a right and then climb up the ledge to reach the chroma.
Resplendent Chroma Catalyst
At the rest point, follow the path left (the giant sad face is down the right path). You’ll find this catalyst on the ground, just past a rock with some giant faces on it.
2940 Chroma
Take the path across from the catalyst. When you reach the big, open, foggy area, look to the left to see a dirt mound with a lantern on it. The chroma will be on the other side of it.
Glass Cannon
Head over to the circular platform with the enemy walking around on it. You’ll spot this Pictos nearby.
Chromatic Ramasseur
For this fight, you won’t get to attack at first. The Ramasseur will attack every turn, and you will have to counterattack it to deal damage. Once you manage to break it, you’ll be able to get a couple of attacks in before it recovers.
Once it starts attacking again, you’ll have to break it again. It has three attacks. Two times it will attack with a Neveron arm. It will either be a four-hit or an eight-hit combo. The other attack it does is a mortal one that will instantly kill your character if the hit lands. Once you defeat the enemy, you’ll receive
Energy Tint Shard
In the open area just before the giant sad face, a side path will be on the back right side. If you keep going straight there, you’ll climb a hill, then turn to the right. There will be a group of three enemies with the shard on the ground between them.
Resplendent Chroma Catalyst
Head back to the side path and continue following it through the cemetery area. When you go up the hill, take a left to reach a ledge next to the giant sad face. Look to the left to spot the catalyst.
Journal – Expedition 39 – Visages
Return to the path and climb up the ledge there. You’ll spot a campsite in the back with a journal there.
Vistages – Peak
Vistages
It’s time to face the Axon Vistages at the mountain’s peak. This battle is pretty straightforward. It will attack using different masks, and you must parry or dodge them.
- Determination Mask – Slams down with its hand, swipes (jump) then another slam
- Anxiety Mask – Two blasts that can exhaust
- Doubt Mast – five strikes with the drumstick
Mask Keeper
The real Axom makes his grand entrance! You’ll be facing the Mask Keeper this time around. He’ll attack primarily using his swords. You’ll receive the Immaculate Pictos, 2 Recoats, and 6 Resplendent Chroma Catalysts for defeating him.
- Starts out with a four-strike sword attack
- Defensive Aura – Gains a shield for each hit to an Expeditioner
- Chaotic Combo – eight strikes with swords
