Crushing Cavern Area Collectibles & Noteworthy Tasks
About Crushing Cavern
Crushing Cavern can be found on the same land mass as Yellow Harvest, on the northern tip. To reach it, you’ll need to recruit Esquie and find his first missing stone, which will grant it the ability to swim. The cavern is actually a giant trap set by the Giant Sapling that calls it home. Upon entering the tunnel, the floor will collapse, resulting in you plunging down to its depth. There, the sampling is waiting!

Giant Sapling
The first thing you’ll encounter in this area is the Giant Sapling. After entering the cavern and following the path, the ground will give out, and you’ll fall into the depths of the area. You’ll see the sapling blocking the way forward (if you want to get the rest of the collectibles). Approach the little guy when you’re ready to fight! If you’d rather come back later, there is a rope in the room near where you fell that you can use to escape. There are two items in the tunnel it guards; one is a journal.
The battle against the sapling is a one against the clock. You’ll only have a few turns to take out the sampling before two giant walls in the adjacent tunnels smash the party to bits! The Nevron will try to exhaust the party by using an attack that will try to hit each of them, one at a time. It can also generate shields you’ll need to remove to damage it.
You’ll be rewarded with the Solidifying Picots for defeating the Giant Sapling. It will give you two shields when the character’s health falls below 50%, and this can only happen once per battle.
Colour of Lumina
This Lumina can be found in the tunnel that the sapling was guarding. You will need to defeat it to reach the item.

The journal is in the tunnel that the sapling was guarding. You must defeat it to reach it.
