About Abbest Cave
Abbest Cave is a smaller area located near Meadow Springs, in the vicinity where the game begins. It has one Rest Point and numerous glowing, magical sheep, and is home to the Chromatic Abbest.
Abbest Cave – Entrance
Chromatic Abbest
A strong, high-level enemy that can wipe your party out in a couple of attacks, especially at the beginning of the game. It has three attacks that you’ll need to pay attention to. The first one has it jumping high into the air and following that up by attacking the targeted party member three times with an invisible blade. There will be a slight pause between attacks, so time your parry right to deal some extra damage against it. The second attack will see the enemy stay on the ground and attack a single target with its invisible blades two times in a row. Lastly, the final attack will be a spell that shoots a spire out of the ground. You will see it coming towards you, and it will hit you once it moves the third time.
Once you manage to take down the Chromatic Abbest, you’ll be rewarded with 2 Resplendent Chroma Catalysts and 5 Colour of Lumina in addition to the First Offense Pictos, which makes the first hit dealt and taken deal 50% more damage.
