How to Start the Exit Through the Rift Shop Quest
To begin the Exit Through the Rift Shop side mission in Borderlands 4, interact with Carlile underneath a bridge southeast of the Deathright Order Silo in The Low Leys during the Rising Action main mission.
How to Complete the Exit Through the Rift Shop Quest
A way off Kairos is an easy sell, especially if you have cool science machines that nobody understands and a rift that makes people disappear. There’s no way someone would just go out there and lie, would they?
Find Francis Oddman
Next, travel to the building underneath the Deep Seven Order Silo in the Dissected Plateau. Once inside, head to the back room and speak with Francis Oddman.
Reach Order encampment
To reach the Order encampment, travel to the Waterstop in the Coastal Bonescape.
Gather machine parts
Upon arrival, you’ll need to gather three machine parts. The first hyperliminal waveform transducer part can be found after meleeing a circular object sticking out of the side of a building.
The next can be found on the northwestern side of the area.
The last can be found underneath the building of the first part.
Return to Francis Oddman
Once you have all the machine parts, return to Francis then place them on Francis’s machine. Afterward, enter the rift that formed. On the other side, you’ll need to take out the Order forces.
Release prisoners
After taking out the Order, press the button on the console to release the prisoners.
After releasing the prisoners, speak with them to learn more information.
Find way out of lab
To gain access to the storage room, enter the vent on the second level then follow it!
Once in the storage room, grab the enriched Eridium by shooting the lock off one of the lockers. Next, you’ll need to bring the Eridium to the rift and throw it at it!
Afterward, use the rift to exit the lab. Once outside, eliminate the Order forces.
Confront Francis Oddman
Now that you know the truth, return to Francis and speak with him. You’ll then need to decide to punch or shoot him. Afterward, the mission will complete.
