In the Drone Ranger side mission of Borderlands 4, you’ll come across a surveyor drone in need of rescue. After freeing it from its restraints, you’ll be tasked with carrying the drone to its designated location while fending off enemies determined to stop you. It’s a mix of escort duty, heavy action, and plenty of chaotic firefights that keep things entertaining from start to finish.

Free Surveyor Drone
To free the Surveyor, simply shoot the vent and Ryely will pop out.
Take Surveyor to its Target
Once free, use your grapple to grab Ryely. You will then need to carry her south to the Mirehome. You must walk and glide as she’ll be dropped if you try fast traveling or using your vehicle! Once you arrive at your destination, deposit Ryely next to the grave by the house by a bridge.
When she has reached her destination, the quest will end and she’ll shoot out your reward!
