How to obtain The Stolen Throne quest
To begin The Stolen Throne quest in Dragon’s Dogma 2, you’ll need to speak with Captain Brant after you’ve completed his previous quests.
The Stolen Throne Objectives
Approach the false Sovran
In order to attend the masquerade, you’ll need to get some formal attire and don a mask. Brant will give you the mask so you must find the attire yourself. Luckily this attire is readily available from the estates in the Noble District. For example both the Courtly Breeches and Courtly Tunic can be found in the Watchhead’s Home.
Once you’re all decked out, enter Vernworth Castle and make your way to Vernworth Hall on the western side of 1F. (If a guard says there is no masquerade today, then just wait until the next night!)
Once in the party, follow the outer hallway around to the west side. Between the two rooms, you’ll find a hidden doorway in the wall that you can head through.
From there, head through the brown doors to exit outside. Follow the walkway down the stairs into an adjacent building. Head inside to trigger a cutscene with Wilhelmina.
Report back to Captain Brant
Return to Captain Brant at the Stardrop Inn to report the news. As a reward, you’ll receive a Wakestone Shard and 6500G.
