Dragon Quest VII Reimagined Grey Fragments Guide
Regenstein Region
(Present) Burnmont
Location: Emberdale Region – Burnmont – Underground Level 1
When you reach Burnmont – Underground Level 5, follow the steps to the east all the way down to Level 1, where you will find this Grey Fragment resting on the ground.
Greenthumb Gardens Region
(Present) Faraday Castle
Location: Frobisher Region – Faraday Castle: Dungeon
Enter the Faraday Castle from the main entrance and go straight ahead. Use the stairs to reach Level 2. On Level 2, exit the floor from the south side and head east along the walkway, going down the stairs on the east side. This will bring you to the east side of Level 1 inside the castle. From there, look for the locked gate and interact with the lever next to it to open said gate. Head through the gate and follow the path to reach the dungeon where you’ll find this fragment on the floor in the corner of the room.
(Past) Roamer Encampment
Location: Roamer Encampment Region – Roamer Encampment
This fragment can be found on the ground by the northwestern tent.
(Past) Alltrades Abbey
Location: Alltrades Abbey Region – Win the colloseium tournament during the main story to reach the Alltrades Abbey – Basement Level 1. The grey fragment will be located on an electric floor.
(Past) Hardlypool
Location: Hardlypool Region – Hardlypool
This fragment can be found on the second level of the northeastern building in Hardlypool.
Vogograd Region
(Past) Temple Palace
Location: Al-Balad Region – Temple Palace – Basement Level 1
This fragment can be found on the ground between two dog statues.
(Present) Al-Balad
Location: Al-Balad Region – Al-Balad
This fragment can be located in the giant pot in the center of the town.
(Present) Palazzo di Bulgio
Location: L’Arca Region – Palazzo di Bulgio – Level 1
This area will be accessible after acquiring the magic carpet. You’ll find the fragment on a counter on Level 1 of the Palazzo di Bulgio.
(Present) Grand Conjuratorium
Location: Hubble Region – Grand Conjuratorium: Hidden Room
To enter the Grand Conjuratorium: Hidden Room, you must start at the statue on the western side of the Grand Conjuratorium – Level 1. From there, head east through the torches and go straight, passing through the eastern torches. Next, go around the outer walkway to the northern torches and pass through to the other side. Once you exit the southern torches, a pathway to the stairs in the center of the area will be revealed. In the Hidden Room, you’ll find this item!
Nottagen Region
(Past) Wetlock
Location: Hardlypool Region – Wetlock: Treasure Room
Break a pot in the Wetlock: Treasure Room during the Rumours of a Music Man main story quest.
(Present) Divine Shrine
Location: Coral Cave Region – Divine Shrine
This fragment can be found in the southern circle of the Divine Shrine after completing the Pool of Piety Region from the Turquoise Fragments.
(Present) The Sea Dragon
Location: The Sea Dragon: Below Decks
This grey fragment can be found on the ground in the room with all the chests on the southern side of The Sea Dragon: Below Decks.
