How to Start the Don’t Look Down Quest
To begin the Don’t Look Down side quest in Avowed, speak with Wounded Aedyran at Tago’s Tower on the western side of the Shark’s Teeth.
Don’t Look Down Walkthrough
A wounded Aedyran soldier warned you that the old Pargrun tower in the Shark’s Teeth has been fortified. Aedyr needs the tower as an outpost to keep out Dreamthralls, but it’s covered in traps. Climb the tower and find out who’s using it.
Find a Way Inside the Tower
When facing the tower, head through the cave to the right or the broken section on the left. Work your way to the back of the tower, avoiding all the traps. There, you’ll find a grated window. Use an ice move to bust through then head inside.
Climb the Tower
Climb on up, avoiding the traps in the tower. Once you near the top, you’ll come across a lever that will deactivate all of the traps. Continue on to reach the top, where you’ll confront Kaota and Haiako. You’ll have two options here. You’ll either need to convince them to stand down or take them out.
To persuade them to leave, you’ll need to tell them of your good deeds or have a high enough skill to pass the skill check. If you fail that or which to fight them, then choose to attack. Neither of them have any unique weapons, so the choice is up to you.
Once you’ve made your choice and followed through, the quest will be completed.
