How to Start the Diabolical Drones of Doom
To begin the Diabolical Drones of Doom, interact with the bounty machine outside of the Fairfield constabulary, then select the Look Up Local Bounties option, followed by the WANTED: Drone Swam bounty. This will give you the details on what you’ll need to do to complete the bounty.

Destroy the Hover Drones
Before leaving Fairfield to pursue this task, we recommend you swing by the Fairfield constabulary and grab the Shock Machine Gun from the locked room. If you couldn’t tell by the name, this gun deals electric damage, which the drones are weak to. It will help you make quick work of them.
To locate the hover drones, you can take one of two paths. The first is to head west out of the city towards the quest’s search area. You can also take the scenic route by heading south of the landing pad and following the main path there clockwise around the island. This will bring you to the hills on the south side of the Ministry of Accuracy.
Near the center of the search area, you’ll find a small outpost filled with drones that you’ll need to destroy. If you have Engineering 3 then you can interact with a valve to destroy them all. Otherwise, you’ll need to take care of them the old-fashioned way.
Return to the Bounty Terminal
Now that all of the drones have been taken care of, head back to the Bounty Terminal in Farifield. Interact with it and choose the Turn In a Completed Bounty option, followed by Turn in Drone Swarm Bounty. This will reward you with some bits, EXP, and an Advanced Decryption Key.
