How to Start the Defeat Milo Quest
To begin the Defeat Milo quest, you must do some leg work first. Progress the story until you reach 09/13, following the events at the Opera House.
You’ll then be able to find and speak with Lovelass outside of the Skyward Tavern on Lower Dia Franco Street. He’ll accuse you of doing something you didn’t do and challenge you to a duel, marking his location on the map.
If you do the Warmth in Winter quest, you’ll come across him on your way to Malva. Loveless will use piercing attacks and is weak to light, so consider that when preparing.
After you defeat him, return to the area outside the tavern and speak with him again to start the quest.
Defeat Milo Guide
Locate Milo
You’ll want to head to the Recruitment Centre on Lunlumo Approach to find Milo just outside. Speak with him to trigger an event where you’ll learn that he’s heading back to the capital.
Gallica will then mark his location on the map for you to travel. He’ll respond by telling you to throw down the gauntlet and even offer up some equipment that has a special effect if you manage to win.
Travel to Milo’s Runner
To reach Milo, you’ll need to head to the Gauntlet Runner and use the round table to travel to his Gauntlet Runner along the road, heading northwest toward the capital. Upon reaching the runner, a cutscene will trigger a battle against him.
Defeat Rival Candidate Milo
You’ll be facing a Level 55 Milo all by his lonesome for this fight. He’s weak to both ice and fire attacks, so make sure to work some of those in to deal extra damage and gain extra turn icons.
On his first turn, he’ll cast a buff on himself, boosting all of his stats, then use another skill that repels a single magic attack back at the attacker. He will also try to inflict charm on the party and attack using ice, fire, and electric magic.
We used Heismay, Strohl, and Basilio to hammer him with physical attacks until he was defeated.
Speak with Loveless
After you return to Altabury Heights, head back to Loveless and speak with him to complete the quest.
Rewards
You’ll be rewarded with a Sumptuous Magla Feast and 60,000 reeve for completing this quest.
