There are five levels of morale: awesome, good, normal, bad, and terrible. When feeling good or awesome, crew members receive a boost to their stats. If they are feeling bad or terrible, they will receive a penalty.
Gifts can be given on the deck of the Goromaru while docked at an island or in a safe area. Gifting something to a crew member that they like will result in a bigger increase!
