How to Start the Captured Memories
You’ll automatically begin the Captured Memories main quest in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild after completing the Seek Out Impa main quest.
Where to Find the 12 Captured Memories
You can find the 12 Captured Memories at the below locations!
1. Sacred Ground Ruins
This captured memory can be found in the Sacred Ground Ruins, which is in northern Hyrule Field in the center of some ruins.
2. Lake Kolomo
To find this captured memory, travel to Lake Kolomo, which is in the southern part of Hyrule Field. It will be located next to a tree on the western side of the lake.
3. Ancient Columns
For this captured memory, travel to the Ancient Columns, which is in the southern part of Tabantha Frontier along the main road. You’ll find it next to a stone column.
4. Kara Kara Bazaar
This memory can be found at Kara Kara Bazaar near the lake.
5. Eldin Canyon
To find this captured memory, travel to Eldin Canyon. You’ll then need to locate the memory at the top of a mountain.
6. Irch Plain
For this captured memory, travel to Irch Plain, which is northeast of Hyrule Ridge. Once there, search the southeastern side of the U shaped lake to find the memory next to a tree.
7. West Necluda
This memory can be found near the river just north of Lake Hylia.
8. Hyrule Castle
You’ll find this memory atop a rampart in Hyrule Castle.
9. Spring of Power
This captured memory can be found east of Death Mountain in the Spring of Power.
10. Sanidin Park Ruins
This memory can be found along the main road in the Sanidin Park Ruins, which is west of Hyrule Field. It will be located by the horse statue.
11. Lanaryu Road – East Gate
This memory can be found at Lanaryu Road – East Gate, which is on the east side of the lake between Kakariko Village and Mount Lanayru.
12. Hyrule Field
This captured memory is located on the eastern side of Hyrule Field.

To view the final captured memory, travel to Blatchery Plain, which is southeast of West Necluda. You’ll find the memory amongst the guardian graveyard.
