How to Start the Burning Trail Quest
To begin the Burning Trail quest in The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered, speak with the guards in Bruma about rumors.
Burning Trail Walkthrough
Find a Strange Note
Travel to Imperial City’s Talos Plaza and read the Mythic Dawn Pamphlet 1 note on a barrel next to the giant dragon statue.
Investigate Hircine’s Shrine
To find the second clue, travel south of the Imperial City to find Hircine’s Shrine. Once there, follow the wolf’s gaze to a tree.
Head behind it to find the Mythic Dawn Pamphlet 2.
Investigate Molag Bal’s Shrine
You can find the third clue by traveling west of the Imperial City to Molag Bal’s Shrine. Once there, you’ll need to follow the light of dawn. Alternatively, on the east side of the shrine, look for the tree with the Mythic Dawn Pamphlet 3.
Find the Last Note
To reach the last note, travel to Bravil. Just before the chapel, you’ll spot a statue of a lady.
You’ll find the Mythic Dawn Pamphlet 4 on the stone fence surrounding the lady.
Find the Shy Dunmer
With all of the notes found, head to The Lonely Suitor Lodge in Bravil and speak with Ranaline about “Mythic Dawn Notes“. The Burning Trail quest will then be completed, and The Crimson Cave quest will begin.
