How to Start the Boundaries of Antiquity Quest
To begin the Boundaries of Antiquity side quest in Avowed, interact with the Help Wanted notice near the entrance to Solace Keep.
Boundaries of Antiquity Walkthrough
Speak with Gabral
Travel to the upper level on the east side and speak with Chief Engineer Gabral. He’ll ask you to find the team he sent out to survey some aqueducts.
Find the Missing Expedition Team
Travel to the expedition’s camp west of Southern Warden Tower. Once at the camp, interact with the journal on the table near the scales to learn that the expedition went to the Slumbering Fields.
To reach the Slumbering Fields, head to the spot shown on the map below.
Once there, climb up the ledge and follow the path to reach the bridge!
At the end of the path, speak with Weeping Willow to learn of an ancient thing that has awoken in the nearby ruins.
Investigate the Presence Inside the Ruins
Work your way through the ruins. Eventually, you’ll reach the Damaged Maegfolc.
Speak with it! Before leaving, make sure to loot the Magic Mistol from the nearby chest!
Return to the Delemgan
Return to Weeping Willow in the center of the Slumbering Fields and speak with her. She’ll release Raluka and allow them to gather the water where the waterway ends after you unblock it.
Speak with Raluka
She’ll want you to kill Weeping Willow so they can set up a guard post. If you choose this route, just keep hitting her until she dies. She won’t fight back and will just stand there. Afterward, you’ll be able to unblock the aqueduct.
If you refuse to kill her, you’ll proceed with unblocking the aqueduct. No matter your decision, you will not receive any special rewards when completing the quest.
Unblock the Aqueduct
Afterwards, head south along the water to reach the blockage in the aqueduct.
Hit it with fire to clear it.
Report Back to Raluka
Once the blockage has been cleared, return to Raluka. Afterward, the quest will complete.
