How to Start Between the Worlds
To begin the Between the Worlds side mission, you’ll first need to complete the listed prerequisites:
- Reach the Truth Born from an Egg main mission
- Complete The Father of Shinjuku side mission
After you’ve done that, Hiroko will send your Agent a message through the Digiline about another anomalous phenomenon she managed to track down.
Between the Worlds Side Mission Walkthrough
Go to the Back Alley in Akihabara
Start by traveling to the Intersection Beneath the Overpass area in Akihabara, then head to the A Certain Back Alley area in the northeastern corner of the map. You’ll then want to go to the northeast part of the area, north of the parking lot with the taxi in it.
There you’ll find an anomaly with an Agumon standing just before it. Approach the Digimon to trigger an event where Agumon will tell the Agent it was trying to investigate the area, but lost its partner. Agree to help him out, and you’ll be transported into the anomaly.
Defeat the Orochimon
After loading into the anomaly, the event will play out, leading to a battle against the Level 15 Orochimon. It’s an Ultimate generation, Virus attribute Digimon with the Dark Dragon type.
Fortunately, you’ll have a certain Royal Knight to assist you with the fight. Orochimon is weak to Light skills, so you’ll want to bring a Vaccine attribute Digimon with access to those kinds of skills. Angemon and Gatomon work really well for this fight.
After the battle, you’ll leave the anomaly where another event plays out. When it concludes, so will the side mission.
