How to Start the Bestower of Wealth: Ch. 1 The Have-Not Quest
The Bestower of Wealth: Ch. 1 The Have-Not quest in Octopath Traveler 0 will automatically begin after completing the Bestower of Wealth: Prologue The Witch’s Fortune quest. The recommended level for this quest is 36.
Bestower of Wealth: Ch. 1 The Have-Not Walkthrough
The wealthy Delcado, whom Bargello was supposed to meet at a feast, has been murdered. In a message written in blood, the killer identifies themselves only as “the Have-Not”.
Speak to Bargello
Next, travel to Valore, enter the hideout, and speak with Bargello.

Meet with Delvecchio

After the cutscene, travel to Victors Hollow. To reach this town, you’ll need to pass through the following areas:
Once in Victors Hollow, head north to the Victors Hollow: Arena Gate then take the western exit to the Victors Hollow: Old Quarter. When you arrive, approach the house in the southwestern corner to trigger a cutscene followed by a fight.

During this fight, Delvecchio’s vulnerabilities will be locked until you defeat both his lackies. When you take out both lackies, Delvecchio will summon two more and his vulnerabilities will become locked again!!
Go to the location identified on the map
Once defeated, head up towards the entrance to the Old Quarter to trigger another cutscene.
Head to the tavern
Next, make your way back to Victors Hollow and enter the tavern. Inside, speak with Bargello.
Check in on your companions
You’ll find your companions at the following locations:
- Levina: Victors Hollow – Outside the church
- Fra: Victors Hollow – Near exit to Victors Hollow Trail
- Pierro Della: Victors Hollow: Arena Gate – Near exit to Old Quarter
- Rosso: Victors Hollow: Old Quarter – Outside western house
Speak to Bargello
After speaking will your companions, check in on Bargello outside the smithy in the Victors Hollow: Arena Gate area.

Speak the password to the gatekeeper
From Bargello, head north and enter the Arena. Head to the back left side and speak the password to the guard to pass on through to the Subterranean Arena.
Search for Leopaldi
Make your way through this area and eventually, you’ll head down a set of stairs where you’ll meet Leopaldi the Wealthy and his goons.

During the fight, Mandarino and Remone will change their vulnerabilities. Make sure to focus on defeating one at a time as they will work together, boosting each other to unleash powerful combo attacks.
Follow Leopaldi
After defeating the duo, head north and follow the path to Leopaldi’s estate where a cutscene will trigger. The quest will complete once it concludes.

Subterranean Arena Area Guide
Treasure Chests


Thoroughly explore the Subterranean Arena to find these chests:
- Energizing Pomegranate
- Sprightly Bracelet
- Arrow Volley Mastery (Guarded by Elite Enemy)
- Blue Chest – Formidable Stance Mastery (up the northern stairs)
- Inspiriting Plum Basket
- Enchanted Axe
Enemies and Weaknesses
Understanding enemy vulnerabilities is essential for quick and efficient battles. The following table summarizes the foes you’ll encounter in the Subterranean Arena:

Elite Enemies
Elite Enemies are powerful foes that lurk within dungeons. The icon’s color represents the enemy’s strength.
- Blue = Weak
- Yellow = Moderate
- Red = Strong
Defeat them to obtain valuable items that can be used to improve Wishvale’s facilities. Make sure to be fully prepared before taking them on!
