How to Start the Bestower of Power: Ch. 2 To Protect What is Dear Quest
The Bestower of Power: Ch. 2 To Protect What is Dear quest in Octopath Traveler 0 will automatically begin after completing the Bestower of Power: Ch. 1: The One That Lays Waste quest. The recommended level for this quest is 40.
Bestower of Power: Ch. 2 To Protect What is Dear Walkthrough
Riven’s neighbor, Donescu, is overtaken by Tatloch. Alaune flees as she ponders a way to strike back.
Speak to Lebrandt
To officially begin the quest, travel to Shepherds Rock: Castle Square and speak with Lebrandt outside the castle.
Head to Grandport
In order to progress with the story, you must complete The Queen Orsa quest to acquire a ship!
When the cutscene ends, travel to Rippletide and board your boat to sail to Grandport, which is to the east. You will pass through the following areas:
Once you dock at Grandport Coast, head just past the save point to trigger a cutscene. After running into the familiar face, continue northeast to Grandport. In Grandport, head to Grandport Bazaar where you’ll meet Ivri, Gakko, and Lord Eltrix.
Speak with Ivri and the others
After Lord Eltrix departs, approach the southeastern side to trigger another cutscene with the trio.
Head to the lord of Grandport’s estate
Next, follow the group east and approach the guards in front of the estate. Following the cutscene, speak with Alaune nearby to trigger another, albeit lengthy cutscene!
You’ll receive a prompt that your journey is approaching a turning point. This means that certain Path Actions will be unavailable in this town until you progress through this chapter.
Head into the Sewer Depths
When you regain control of the chosen one, speak with the sailor to board the boat to the sewers. Once in the Grandport Sewers, head west to reach the Grandport Sewers: Depths. From here, head to the western side of the area where you’ll run into the G’roha Commander.

Go to the location identified on the map
After the fight, head to the far eastern side of the Grandport Sewers: Depths. During the cutscene, you’ll meet Pelagia the Conjurer.
