Bardon Bond Abilities
- Rank 1
- Commander Archetype – The party can now study the Commander Archetype.
- Rank 2
- Commander Enlightenment – Reduces the MAG cost of studying the Commander Lineage.
- Rank 3
- Commander Arechetype: Adept – The party can now study the General Archetype
- Scion’s Skill – Increases skill Inheritance slots for the Commander Lineage to 2.
- Rank 4
- Protective Formation – Improves defense when the whole party is in the back row.
- Care Package – Occasionally, as one day ends and another begins, Bardon will send a parcel.
- Rank 5
- Scion’s Merit – Increases skill Inheritance slots for the Commander Lineage to 3.
- Escape Artist – Improves the chances of escaping from Squad Battles
- Rank 6
- Commander Veneration – Significantly reduces the MAG cost of Studying the Commander Lineage.
- Rapid Swapper – Halves the Turn Icon cost of switching with a reserve member during Squad Battle.
- Rank 7
- With certain exceptions, escape will always succeed during Squad Battle.
- Rank 8
- Commander Archetype: Elite – The party can now study the Warlord Archetype.
Bardon Bond Rank
Rank 1
Bardon’s Rank 1 becomes available following the events of Kriegante Castle. You can find him standing near the Thoroughfare Square fountain in Martira. During the conversation, Bardon will ask you some questions. Feel free to answer them however you want, as none reward MAG. After completing it, you’ll reach Bardon’s bond Rank 1 and unlock the Commander Archetype.

After some time passes, return to Bardon to check in with him. He’ll then ask if you have some time so that he can discuss a matter with you. It would seem the people of Martira want Bardon to step up and lead them.

Following the Rank 2 bonding event, you’ll be able to speak with Bardon to begin Rank 3. He’s been busy since becoming governor, and he has something to tell you about it.

Rank 4
Once a couple more days pass, you’ll be able to speak with Bardon to begin his Rank 4 bonding event. He’ll say that he has something to show you and bring you to the town’s new defensive barriers.

A few days after Bardon’s Rank 4 bonding event, you’ll be able to speak with him again outside Kreigante Gate. He’ll tell you that his foe is a cunning one and then say he wants to strike a deal with him. To proceed, you’ll need to have your Eloquence at Rank 3.

Rank 6
Wait a couple of days, and then check in with Bardon at the Kriegante Gate in Martira. Speak with him and ask what’s wrong to begin the event.

- Any option (3)
At the end of the event, you’ll get The Right to Rule quest.

You’ll reach Bardon’s Rank 7 bond level after completing The Right to Rule quest.

Complete Bardon’s previous events then you’ll be able to speak with him to rank up on 09/26.
