BanchoLeomon Overview (In-Game Profile)
BanchoLeomon is a Beast Man Digimon that answers only to its own sense of justice. It’s said that only Digimon that have continued to triumph over incredibly powerful foes without having their spirits broken earn the title of “Bancho”, a term that loosely translates to “ringleader”.
In all the recorded history of the Digital World, only five Digimon have ever been confirmed to have this in their names. BanchoLeomon opposes anything that stands in the way of its justice. Even if it’s one of the Royal Knights or one of the Three Celestial Digimon, BanchoLeomon won’t hesitate to brand them as an evil foe that must be destroyed.
BanchoLeomon also boasts a powerful defense, as it can use the GAKU-RAN draped over its shoulders to negate 89.9 percent of the damage caused by an opponent’s physical attacks.
BanchoLeomon’s special moves include Lion Slash, an attack with its beloved shortsword Otokodama, and Flashy Boss Punch, which involves channeling all of its considerable energy into a single punch.

Where to Find BanchoLeomon
BanchoLeomon cannot be found while exploring the Human or Digital worlds. To add BanchoLeomon as a partner in Digimon Story Time Stranger, you’ll need to digivolve a lower-generation Digimon or de-digivolve a higher-generation Digimon into BanchoLeomon. BanchoLeomon Digivolution
Digivolution is the process that allows your Digimon to grow stronger and unlock new forms. Each Digivolution path has specific requirements, such as reaching a certain level, achieving a minimum stat threshold, or meeting personality and bond conditions.
Some Digimon also require special items or story progression to evolve. Choosing when and how to Digivolve is essential, since certain evolutions may branch into multiple options, giving you flexibility in shaping your partner’s role in battle.
De-Digivolution
In Digimon Story Time Stranger, de-digivolution allows you to return a Digimon to a previous form. Unlike standard digivolution, which requires stat thresholds and level milestones, de-digivolution has its own conditions. To de-digivolve a Digimon, one of the following requirements must be met:
- Encounter requirement: The Target Digimon must have already been encountered at least once during your playthrough.
- Personality requirement: The Target Digimon’s base Personality must match the current Digimon’s Personality.
Meeting either condition will unlock the option to de-digivolve, giving you more flexibility in reshaping your team and experimenting with different evolutionary paths.

Digivolution is the process of evolving a Digimon into a stronger form. Each Digimon can evolve along multiple branches depending on its stats, level, and personality. To digivolve a Digimon, you must meet certain requirements.
