How to Start the An Ice Guy Quest
To begin the An Ice Guy side quest in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, speak with Guy at Kara Kara Bazaar.
How to Complete the An Ice Guy Quest
Guy of the Kara Kara Bazaar needs a cooling elixir to beat the heat. The medicine is made by combining a bug with chilling effects with monster parts. You’ll find the bug in question in the cooler parts of the Gerudo Highlands.
Find the Bug with Chilling Effects
One bug with a chilling effect is the Cold Darner. You can purchase a Cold Darner from Beedle at the Kara Kara Bazaar for 10 rupees.
Find Monster Parts
Monster Parts can be collected from enemies like Lizalfos, such as a Lizalfos Tail.
Craft a Chilly elixir
To craft a Chilly Elixir, head to any cooking pot and mix the Cold Darner and Lizalfos Tail (or whatever other bug and monster part you got!).
Deliver the Chilly Elixir
Once you’ve crafted a Chilly Elixir, return to Guy at the Kara Kara Bazaar to deliver it. As a reward, you will receive 50 rupees.
