How to Start the An Encounter with Primrose Quest
To begin the An Encounter with Primrose quest in Octopath Traveler 0 speak with the dancer in the Sunshade tavern after completing the Master of All: Ch. 4 Wise King Solon quest.
An Encounter with Primrose Walkthrough
Primrose is the most popular dancer in Sunshade, with many patrons drawn to her mysterious charm.
“Inquire” with Primrose
Enter the tavern in Sunshade and use the Inquire Path Action on Primrose to obtain her information.
Speak to Pierro in Valore
Next, you’ll need to travel to Valore and speak with Pierro in the hideout.
Head to the tavern in Sunshade
After Pierro has decided that he must meet Primrose, return to the tavern in Sunshade to trigger a cutscene followed by a fight.
Boss Fight: Rosso
For this fight, you will face Rosso.
You can steal a Fortifying Nut from Rosso.

Boss Tips
- For the first turn, he will apply buffs to himself.
After the fight, invite Primrose to join you. She’ll agree and can now become a resident of Wishvale.
Primrose is a dancer whose graceful movements bolster her allies. She uses the Fan and Dagger as weapons. Her battle skills are as follows:
- Lion Dance – Raise physical attack of an ally
- Moonlight Waltz – Unleash a dark attack on a foe
After the cutscene, the quest will complete!
