How to Start the An Encounter with Ophilia Quest
To begin the An Encounter with Ophilia quest in Octopath Traveler 0, speak with Ophilia at Flamesgrace Cathedral: Entrance after completing the Bestower of Fame: Ch. 2 Sacred Ashes quest.
An Encounter with Ophilia Walkthrough
The cleric Ophilia is the daughter of the archbishop of Flamesgrace and loves her family with all her heart. One day, a man claiming to be her real father appears before her.
Check on Ophilia
Once you gain control, exit the church and approach Ophilia to trigger a cutscene.
Speak to Edwin
Next, make your way to the entrance of Flamesgrace and exit to the Flamesgrace Wilds. Once there, speak with Edwin in the northern part of the area. The conversation will quickly go south, leading to a boss fight.

When you emerge victorious, the quest will complete and Ophilia will become your companion and a Wishvale resident.
Ophilia is a cleric adept at all forms of healing and defending allies. She learns a support skill that increases JP obtained.

- Healing Wounds – Restore HP of the entire front row or entire back row
- Holy Light – Unleash a light attack on a foe
