How to Start the A Long-Lost Love Quest
To begin the A Long-Lost Love quest in Octopath Traveler 0, speak with Lutus at the store in Wishvale after reaching Town Level 7.

Ludo once had a love with whom he parted ways after a huge quarrel. Listen to Karan’s story, and aim to learn more about her.
Visit the Shepherds Rock infirmary
Next, travel to Shepherds Rock and enter the building to the east of the church. It will be the second one. Inside, speak with the man.
Speak with a guard in Shepherds Rock
After the cutscene, speak with the guards by the southeastern exit to learn what happened to Molly.
Head to the Cavern of Mists
To find the Cavern of Mists, travel east of Shepherds Rock. Once there, travel to the northeastern corner to trigger a cutscene followed by a fight against three thieves.

After the fight, the quest will complete and you’ll receive the Charm of Compassion and Silver-Filled Pouch x2.
