How to Start A Friend in Need
To begin the A Friend in Need quest, speak with Davrin in the Lighthouse after some time passes from completing his previous quests.
A Friend in Need Walkthrough
For this quest, travel to the Waterfront Glades in the Arlathan Forest then head to the Hidden Grove and speak with Davrin. You’ll then need to follow him to Eldrin and speak with him.

After your conversation, you’ll need to assist Eldrin with gathering 3 stone root, 3 vanerberries and a marpel tree branch. Follow behind Assan to each location where you’ll collect the ingredients.
In the Cliffside Pass, place the ingredients where indicated then blow the horn to signal the halla.
