How to Start A Fragmented Monument
To begin the A Fragmented Monument shrine quest, travel to Lurelin Village in the southeastern region of Necluda, just south of East Necluda. From there, head east of the village toward the Palmorae Ruins. You will find Garini examining a broken monument next to two pedestals.
Speak with him, choosing the “What are you doing?” and “Can I help?” dialogue options. Garini will then task Link with locating the missing fragments of the monument and drawing pictures of them to help decipher their meaning. With that, the A Fragmented Monument quest will officially begin.
Solve the Riddle and Find the Shrine
Locating the First Fragment
Begin by heading to the water near the “P” of Palmorae Beach on your map. There, on some submerged sand, you will spot the first fragment.
Use your Camera Rune to take a picture of it, which is needed to progress the quest.
Finding the Second Fragment
Next, travel east of the Palmorae Ruins, where you’ll find the second fragment tucked behind a cluster of trees in a small nook formed by mountain walls.
Again, use your Camera Rune to capture a picture of this fragment.
Discovering the Third Fragment
The final fragment is located on the eastern tip of Soka Point, southwest of the Palmorae Ruins.
Take a picture of this fragment with your Camera Rune to complete the set.
Returning to Garini and Triggering the Shrine
Once you have photographed all three fragments, return to Garini to show him your images. He will provide the following clue: “When two find their place and kneel in reverence, the shrine will reveal itself.”
To trigger the shrine, stand in the center of one of the pedestals and crouch with Link. Garini will then crouch on the adjacent pedestal, causing the shrine to emerge from the sand. With that, the A Fragmented Monument shrine quest is complete.
