Below is a walkthrough for the Crusader For Spuds standard quest in Xenoblade Chronicles 3. To obtain this quest, listen in on the conversations around Colony 9 during Chapter 7 then head to a rest spot and discuss the Spongy Spud Eval topic. Please note that Zeon is required for this quest.
For the first task, head up to Colony 9 Command. When the cutscene ends, travel to Colony 4 in the Fornis Region and speak with Solon. Afterwards, return to Colony 9 Command for a cutscene then travel back to Colony 4. Once there, head to each of the 3 objectives to listen in on the conversations. Once you’ve obtained all 3 pieces of info, head to a rest spot and discuss the Colony 4’s Food Plight topic. With the topic discussed, head to the nearby field in Colony 4 marked by the objective to trigger a cutscene. Next, interact with the kitchen station near the canteen then hand over the below items to make Manana’s Spud Dish.

- Cured Armu Sirloin x2
- Dropped by Armu: Fornis Region – Ribbi Flats and Rae-Bel Tableland; Cadensia Region – Great Sword’s Base and Erythia Sea
- Deodorugula x2
- Gathered: Aetia Region – Millick Meadows and Melnath’s Shoulder
- Drumstick Leek x3
- Gathered: Cadensia Region – Erythia Sea at Daedal Isle
After you’ve crafted the dish, the quest will complete.
