Dragon Quest VII Reimagined Yellow Fragments Guide
Ballymolloy Region
(Present) Shrine of Mysteries
This Yellow Fragment is obtained automatically during The Pilchard Harvest main quest.
(Present) Estard
Location: Estard Island – Estard: Underground Path – Trial Room
In Estard, head into the hole to the left of the church to reach the Estard: Underground Path.
Use the stairs on the south side of the room and follow the path to reach the Cliffside Dwelling. Enter the building there and go down to the basement. Speak with Dermot to receive a key.
With the key in hand, head to the Estard: Underground Path – Basement Level 2. Use the key to unlock the gate.
Just past the door you’ll reach the Estard: Underground Path – Trial Room. For this trial, you will need to push the stones until the pieces line up in the shadow.
Afterwards, stand on the platform just before the statue to reveal a hidden door. Enter the new room to find the Yellow Fragment! As you approach, a pair of tribulators will attack! Take them out then collect the fragment.
(Present) Rainbow Cove
Location: Ballymolloy Region – Rainbow Cove: Cave – Trial Room
Enter Pike’s house in Estard and speak with him. He’ll ask you to help him out. For this request, you will need to collect three empty bottles around down. Collect these shining objects around town! Once you have all three, exit the town to the world map and travel to Rainbow Cove: Cave in the northern part of Estard Island.
When you arrive, speak with Pike on the beach and fill up the three bottles. Afterwards, deliver the bottles to Pike and follow him into the cave where he will show you a secret entrance. This will bring you to the Rainbow Cove: Cave – Trial Room. To solve the Trial Room puzzle, move the two blocks into the holes in the floor to stop the water from flowing.
Next, head through the newly accessible door to find the Yellow Fragment inside.
(Present) Pilchard Bay
Speak with Pollock at the Hero’s Home Sweet Home during The Pilchard Harvest main quest to receive this Yellow Fragment.
Roamer Encampment Region
(Present) L’Arca
Location: L’Arca Region – L’Arca – Mayor’s House
This fragment, which is one of the yellow fragments, can be found on the floor in the storage room at the Mayor’s House in L’Arca.
(Past) Institute of Automatry
Location: Frobisher Region – Institute of Automatry
This fragment can be found in the Storeroom at the Institute of Automatry.
(Present) Frobisher
Location: Frobisher Region – Frobisher
This fragment can be found on the ground in the building west of the inn.
(Present) Institute of Automatry
Complete the Automata Through the Ages main story quest to receive this yellow fragment.
Al-Balad Region
(Past) Poolside Cave
Location: Roamer Encampment Region – Poolside Cave – Underground Level 3
This fragment can be found on the ground in the northeastern corner.
(Past) Alltrades Abbey
You will automatically acquire this fragment during A Sense of Powerlessness main story quest from the priestess.
(Present) Alltrades Abbey
You will automatically receive this fragment from the priestess during the Restoring the Abbey main story quest.
(Present) Bandits’ Base
Defeat the Mighty Pip during the Restoring the Abbey main story quest.
