How to Start the Bestower of All: Ch. 7 Sazantos Quest
The Bestower of All: Ch. 7 Sazantos quest in Octopath Traveler 0 will automatically begin after completing the Bestower of All: Ch. 6 The Precipice of Loss quest. The recommended level for this quest is 61.

Return to Wishvale
After the chapter begins, head south through the Hornburg Batte Ruins. The game will then prompt you to travel to Wishvale. Select “Yes” to trigger a lengthy cutscene. Once it concludes, you’ll wake up at the hub. Head towards the exit to trigger another one.
Search for Clues
When you regain control of your character, you’ll find yourself in Wishvale Trail. Head northeast and enter the house. Interact with the books on the back wall.
Head to the Flamebearer’s Shrine
After reading the books, exit the house and travel east to the Cerulean Caverns. Head to the Path to the Flamebearer’s Shrine in the northern part of the cave. Once there, make your way north and approach the Flamebearer’s Shrine for the wolf to give a warning. When you can, enter the shrine and interact with the Sacred Flame to be transported to a reflecting pool, where you’ll witness memories.
Investigate the Cathedral of Ash
In the cathedral, head to the west and use the Inquire Path Action on the Dedicated Cleric to learn the Dedicated Cleric’s Information. Next, enter the easternmost room and use the Inquire Path Action on Deacon Guillaume to learn Deacon Guillaume’s Information.
Read the Twelve Heavenly Scriptures
Next, interact with each of the four statues on the outside of the main room and take the books to receive the scriptures.
Search the rooms in the Great Cathedral
Next, enter the second room and interact with the bookshelf to place the books in the following order:
- Dreisang, the Archmagus’s Writings
- Balogar, the Runeblade’s Writings
- Winnehild, Warbringer’s Writings
- Steorra, Starseer’s Writings
A secret door will open! Head inside to reach the Cathedral of Ash: Underground. At the bottom of the stairs, interact with the bookshelf. Once finished reading, head to the next one on the right. Continue doing so until you have read all the books.
Confront the cardinals
When able, head north, passing through the statues, to face the cardinals.

Purge all desires
After killing the cardinals, head north to the Cathedral of Ash: Underground. Fight all the cardinals you come across!

On the northeastern side of the room just past the save point, you’ll enter a room containing Cardinal Teragraf.

Examine the reflecting pool
After the fight, you’ll gain control of yourself. Make sure to heal yourself if need be then interact with the reflecting pool. During the cutscene, select “Yes”!
Face off against your shadow
When you are ready, use the Inquire Path Action on your shadow.

After the fight, use the Inquire and Illuminate Path Actions on yourself.
Head further into the sanctum
Pass through the doors to the north and follow the main path to trigger a cutscene, which will conclude the chapter.
