How to Start the In Search of What Remains Quest
To begin the In Search of What Remains quest in Octopath Traveler 0, disembark at the Sunken Ship in The Middlesea during the Bestower of All: Ch. 4 A Nation Frozen in Time quest.
In Search of What Remains Walkthrough
Within the remains of Tatloch’s ship, which was destroyed in the Middlesea, there is said to be a valuable treasure.
Search for Tatloch’s treasure
To find the black and gold treasure chest, you’ll have to work your way through the entire Sunken Ship area. Upon interacting with the chest, you’ll encounter the Abysmal One!

After defeating the giant monster, Tatloch will thank you for your aid and the quest will complete. As a reward, you will receive the Fan of the Dragon Princess and a Jewel Bag.
