How to Start the Bestower of All: Ch. 2 Hill of the Dead Quest
The Bestower of All: Ch. 2 Hill of the Dead quest in Octopath Traveler 0 will automatically begin after completing the Bestower of All: Ch. 1 Between Life and Death quest. The recommended level for this quest is 51.
Bestower of All: Ch. 2 Hill of the Dead Walkthrough
After Signa and the dead appear in Edoras, you travel to Hell and drive back the deceased General Mahrez. Signa makes good her escape, but not before declaring her next stop: Cragspear.
Speak to Alaune
Speak with Alaune in the Castle Edoras: Throne Room.
Speak to Stia in Wishvale
Next, travel to Wishvale and approach Stia to trigger a cutscene.
Head to Bargello’s hideout
To find Bargello, approach the southeast corner of Valore. When you arrive, a cutscene will trigger. During this cutscene, agree to go to Hell with Bargello.
Head to Hell’s White Grape Hill
First, enter the building west of the church in Hell: Valore – Main Boulevard and use the Contend Path Action on the Enraged Prostitute.

After you defeat her, head east to Hell: Valore and use the Contend Path Action on Lord Taviani in Bargello’s hideout.

Defeating these two beings will clear the dark mist from all of Valore, allowing you to continue forward to Hell: Valore Forest. Pass through this area to reach the Hell: Path to White Grape Hill. Just past the save point in this area, approach Dark Priestess Signa in Hell: White Grape Hill to trigger a cutscene leading to a boss fight.

After you take down Fallen Sonia, Bargello will become your companion and a resident of Wishvale.
Bargello, the Lord, is an offensive specialist with all manner of dagger attacks. He learns a skill that allows oneself to perform one action first.
- Weapons: Dagger
- Battle Skills:
- Double Edge – Unleash 2 dagger attacks on a foe
- Lower Defenses – Inflict Phys Def Down and Elem Def Down on a foe
Enter the throne room
When you are ready, travel to Castle Edoras: Throne Room in Cragspear. Once inside, a cutscene will trigger followed by a fight against Fallen Elrica.

During this fight, Fallen Elrica has a skill that lets her evade physical attacks for a certain number of times. She’ll also lock her elemental weaknesses about halfway through the fight. Break her to re-expose these vulnerabilities!
Once you defeat her, a cutscene will trigger and the quest will end.
