How to Start the An Encounter with Viator Quest
To begin the An Encounter with Viator quest in Octopath Traveler 0, speak with the person wearing a green outfit in the tavern.
Please note that the person wearing green will only be here if you chose the Crested Key valuable at the very beginning of the game when setting up your character!
An Encounter with Viator Walkthrough
Once you speak with the person wearing green in Valore tavern, Viator will appear, asking you to join his quest for sacred treasures. After your conversation, you will receive the Crested Key. Viator will then join you as a companion and can become a resident of Wishvale.
Viator is a warrior skilled in the arts of provocation and evasion. He has both a sword and polearm and uses the following battle skills:
- Provoke – Focus enemy attacks on yourself
- Wild Blade – Unleash two sword attacks on random foes
Viator will learn a support skill that counters elemental attacks.
