GroundLocomon Overview (In-Game Profile)
A Mega Vehicle-species Digimon. Foolish, headstrong, and extremely competitive, GroundLocomon also possesses immense power, and anything it runs into is reduced to smithereens. GroundLocomon can lay its own track, allowing it to travel wherever it wishes.
Its special move is Destruction Crush, with which it rams its spike wheel into foes at incredible speed.

Where to Find GroundLocomon
GroundLocomon cannot be found while exploring the Human or Digital worlds. To add GroundLocomon as a partner in Digimon Story Time Stranger, you’ll need to digivolve a lower-generation Digimon or de-digivolve a higher-generation Digimon into GroundLocomon. Refer to the GroundLocomon Digivolution section below for more information.
GroundLocomon Digivolution
Digivolution is the process that allows your Digimon to grow stronger and unlock new forms. Each Digivolution path has specific requirements, such as reaching a certain level, achieving a minimum stat threshold, or meeting personality and bond conditions.
Some Digimon also require special items or story progression to evolve. Choosing when and how to Digivolve is essential, since certain evolutions may branch into multiple options, giving you flexibility in shaping your partner’s role in battle.
De-Digivolution
In Digimon Story Time Stranger, de-digivolution allows you to return a Digimon to a previous form. Unlike standard digivolution, which requires stat thresholds and level milestones, de-digivolution has its own conditions. To de-digivolve a Digimon, one of the following requirements must be met:
- Encounter requirement: The Target Digimon must have already been encountered at least once during your playthrough.
- Personality requirement: The Target Digimon’s base Personality must match the current Digimon’s Personality.
Meeting either condition will unlock the option to de-digivolve, giving you more flexibility in reshaping your team and experimenting with different evolutionary paths.
GroundLocomon can de-digivolve into the following forms:
Digivolution
Digivolution is the process of evolving a Digimon into a stronger form. Each Digimon can evolve along multiple branches depending on its stats, level, and personality. To digivolve a Digimon, you must meet certain requirements.
GroundLocomon cannot digivolve into any forms.
