Durandamon Overview (In-Game Profile)
Durandamon is the Digimon with the ultimate holy sword. It Digivolved by improving its own sword to the utmost limit, and by taking in data on various holy swords from games and myths alike.
It’s said that whoever holds Durandamon’s sword holds the key to victory, and Durandamon is among the most powerful of all the Legend-Arms that transform into swords. Its slashes are so fierce they can cleave any defensive barrier in two. According to the record, only the strongest of the Legend-Arms that transform into shields are capable of withstanding it.
Durandamon’s special moves are Zwei Glanze, with which it slices through foes by channeling its fighting spirit into its blade-arms, and Thron Messer, a spinning slash capable of felling several enemies at once. Although both of these moves are strong enough to finish opponents in a single blow, Durandamon’s most compelling capability remains its powerful slashing attack in weapon form.

Having the Vaccine attribute, Durandamon is weak to Digimon with the Data attribute, while resisting those with the Virus attribute.

Where to Find Durandamon
Durandamon cannot be found while exploring the Human or Digital worlds. To add Durandamon as a partner in Digimon Story Time Stranger, you’ll need to digivolve a lower-generation Digimon or de-digivolve a higher-generation Digimon into Durandamon. Refer to the Durandamon Digivolution section below for more information.
Durandamon Digivolution
Digivolution is the process that allows your Digimon to grow stronger and unlock new forms. Each Digivolution path has specific requirements, such as reaching a certain level, achieving a minimum stat threshold, or meeting personality and bond conditions.
Some Digimon also require special items or story progression to evolve. Choosing when and how to Digivolve is essential, since certain evolutions may branch into multiple options, giving you flexibility in shaping your partner’s role in battle.
De-Digivolution
In Digimon Story Time Stranger, de-digivolution allows you to return a Digimon to a previous form. Unlike standard digivolution, which requires stat thresholds and level milestones, de-digivolution has its own conditions. To de-digivolve a Digimon, one of the following requirements must be met:
- Encounter requirement: The Target Digimon must have already been encountered at least once during your playthrough.
- Personality requirement: The Target Digimon’s base Personality must match the current Digimon’s Personality.
Meeting either condition will unlock the option to de-digivolve, giving you more flexibility in reshaping your team and experimenting with different evolutionary paths.
Durandamon can de-digivolve into the following forms:
Digivolution
Digivolution is the process of evolving a Digimon into a stronger form. Each Digimon can evolve along multiple branches depending on its stats, level, and personality. To digivolve a Digimon, you must meet certain requirements.
Durandamon cannot digivolve into any forms.
