Chronomon HM Overview (In-Game Profile)
A Deity Digimon said to be a materialization of the system that governs time. The flow of time in the Digital World is truly vague, and some conflicts between powerful Digimon or cataclysms have been known to cause space-time disturbances.
It’s Chronomon that appears on such occasions, bearing the responsibility of mending space-time. Once it makes such a restoration, even the fact that Chronomon appeared disappears alongside said disturbance itself, thus no one has ever laid eyes on this Digimon. This is why its existence is only spoken of in a scant few legends.
Chronomon’s special moves are Holy Flare, a blast of holy flame that burns away the very existences of any who maliciously seek to warp space-time, and Chronos Crop, an unblockable attack in which it swings its wings like blades, cleaving its foe from the fabric of time and space itself.

Where to Find Chronomon HM
Chronomon HM cannot be found while exploring the Human or Digital worlds. To add Chronomon HM as a partner in Digimon Story Time Stranger, you’ll need to digivolve a lower-generation Digimon or de-digivolve a higher-generation Digimon into Chronomon HM. Refer to the Chronomon HM Digivolution section below for more information.
Chronomon HM Digivolution
Digivolution is the process that allows your Digimon to grow stronger and unlock new forms. Each Digivolution path has specific requirements, such as reaching a certain level, achieving a minimum stat threshold, or meeting personality and bond conditions.
Some Digimon also require special items or story progression to evolve. Choosing when and how to Digivolve is essential, since certain evolutions may branch into multiple options, giving you flexibility in shaping your partner’s role in battle.
De-Digivolution
In Digimon Story Time Stranger, de-digivolution allows you to return a Digimon to a previous form. Unlike standard digivolution, which requires stat thresholds and level milestones, de-digivolution has its own conditions. To de-digivolve a Digimon, one of the following requirements must be met:
- Encounter requirement: The Target Digimon must have already been encountered at least once during your playthrough.
- Personality requirement: The Target Digimon’s base Personality must match the current Digimon’s Personality.
Meeting either condition will unlock the option to de-digivolve, giving you more flexibility in reshaping your team and experimenting with different evolutionary paths.

Digivolution
Digivolution is the process of evolving a Digimon into a stronger form. Each Digimon can evolve along multiple branches depending on its stats, level, and personality. To digivolve a Digimon, you must meet certain requirements.
Chronomon HM cannot digivolve into any forms.
