Piedmon Overview (In-Game Profile)

Piedmon is an odd-looking and elusive Wizard Digimon shrouded in mystery. Wizard Digimon are strange beings, so different from Evil-species and Undead types that they may as well be from another dimension.

Piedmon’s true identity is unknown, as are the reasons for its sudden appearance. The very reason for its existence is a mystery, and it’s currently unclear how to learn more about it. What is quite evident, however, is that it possesses incomparable power. Anyone who encounters Piedmon can do little but curse their own fate.

Piedmon’s special move is Trump Sword, with which it teleports the four swords stuck through the magic box on its back so that they suddenly reappear, skewering the opponent – an inescapable attack.

  • Encounter requirement: The Target Digimon must have already been encountered at least once during your playthrough.
  • Personality requirement: The Target Digimon’s base Personality must match the current Digimon’s Personality.

Meeting either condition will unlock the option to de-digivolve, giving you more flexibility in reshaping your team and experimenting with different evolutionary paths.
