Cherrymon Overview (In-Game Profile)
Cherrymon is a Digimon further Digivolved from Woodmon, gaining a high degree of intelligence and power. Known as the “Lord of the Deep Forest”, it’s a terrifying Digimon that lures those who wander into the depths of the dark forest even farther inside so they can never leave again.
Its body produces a hallucinogenic mist to lure Digimon deep into the forest. It then uses its branch-like tentacles and vines to capture its enemies and draw nourishment from them. Should you ever encounter an old Woodmon, it may be best to defeat it before it can Digivolve into Cherrymon.
Cherrymon’s special move, Cherry Bomb, makes use of the forbidden fruit growing in the thick branches on its head.

Having the Virus attribute, Cherrymon is weak to Digimon with the Vaccine attribute, while resisting those with the Data attribute.

Where to Find Cherrymon
Cherrymon cannot be found while exploring the Human or Digital Worlds. To add Cherrymon as a partner in Digimon Story Time Stranger, you’ll need to digivolve a lower-generation Digimon or de-digivolve a higher-generation Digimon into Cherrymon. Refer to the Cherrymon Digivolution section below for more information.
Cherrymon Digivolution
Digivolution is the process that allows your Digimon to grow stronger and unlock new forms. Each Digivolution path has specific requirements, such as reaching a certain level, achieving a minimum stat threshold, or meeting personality and bond conditions.
Some Digimon also require special items or story progression to evolve. Choosing when and how to Digivolve is essential, since certain evolutions may branch into multiple options, giving you flexibility in shaping your partner’s role in battle.
De-Digivolution
In Digimon Story Time Stranger, de-digivolution allows you to return a Digimon to a previous form. Unlike standard digivolution, which requires stat thresholds and level milestones, de-digivolution has its own conditions. To de-digivolve a Digimon, one of the following requirements must be met:
- Encounter requirement: The Target Digimon must have already been encountered at least once during your playthrough.
- Personality requirement: The Target Digimon’s base Personality must match the current Digimon’s Personality.
Meeting either condition will unlock the option to de-digivolve, giving you more flexibility in reshaping your team and experimenting with different evolutionary paths.

Digivolution
Digivolution is the process of evolving a Digimon into a stronger form. Each Digimon can evolve along multiple branches depending on its stats, level, and personality. To digivolve a Digimon, you must meet certain requirements.
