Shaujinmon Overview (In-Game Profile)
A Wizard Digimon expelled from the heavens of the Digital World. A certain DigiCore is sealed within the nine beads of its necklace. It’s usually calm and collected, but if even one bead of its necklace is lost, Shaujinmon transforms once again into a terrifying Digimon.
It uses its special move, Kouyoujou: Hydro Descent, to strike its astonishing, super-heavyweight staff “Kouyoujou” on the ground, shattering it and releasing a raging current.

Where to Find Shaujinmon
Shaujinmon cannot be found while exploring the Human or Digital worlds. To add Shaujinmon as a partner in Digimon Story Time Stranger, you’ll need to digivolve a lower-generation Digimon or de-digivolve a higher-generation Digimon into Shaujinmon. Refer to the Shaujinmon Digivolution section below for more information.
Shaujinmon Digivolution
Digivolution is the process that allows your Digimon to grow stronger and unlock new forms. Each Digivolution path has specific requirements, such as reaching a certain level, achieving a minimum stat threshold, or meeting personality and bond conditions.
Some Digimon also require special items or story progression to evolve. Choosing when and how to Digivolve is essential, since certain evolutions may branch into multiple options, giving you flexibility in shaping your partner’s role in battle.
De-Digivolution
In Digimon Story Time Stranger, de-digivolution allows you to return a Digimon to a previous form. Unlike standard digivolution, which requires stat thresholds and level milestones, de-digivolution has its own conditions. To de-digivolve a Digimon, one of the following requirements must be met:
- Encounter requirement: The Target Digimon must have already been encountered at least once during your playthrough.
- Personality requirement: The Target Digimon’s base Personality must match the current Digimon’s Personality.
Meeting either condition will unlock the option to de-digivolve, giving you more flexibility in reshaping your team and experimenting with different evolutionary paths.

Digivolution
Digivolution is the process of evolving a Digimon into a stronger form. Each Digimon can evolve along multiple branches depending on its stats, level, and personality. To digivolve a Digimon, you must meet certain requirements.
