How to Start the Better by Factors Quest
To begin the Better by Factors companion quest in The Outer Worlds 2, simply approach the Automech Production Facility in Praetor, which can be found northwest of The Landing Pad.

Locate Another Upgrade Kit for VALERIE inside the Automech Factory
All the enemies inside the Automech Production Facility will be hostile. If you wish to sneak past them, use the rock ledges on the right side of the facility.
From there, follow the rock ledge to reach an upper walkway containing a door. Head through this door.
Head right and take the stairs down.
At the bottom of the stairs, take a left and hug the wall.
Enter the first door on the left to find VALERIE’s Advanced Mod Kit in a display case in the corner.
Once you pick up the mod, the Better by Factors Companion quest will be completed!
