How to Start the Deviations Under Duress Collectible Quest
To begin the Deviations Under Duress side quest in The Outer Worlds 2, you’ll need to travel to Cloister and find one of the Order Audiologs. The quest will start after listening to one of them.
Alternatively, speak with Oracle Laureate Lesley Beckett in Laplace’s Garden to begin this quest!

Located Order Audiologs
To complete this collectible quest, you’ll need to find all four of the Order Audiologs hidden around Cloister.
Sojourner’s Log – North
The Sojourner’s Log – North can be found at the Excogitation Chapel, located in the northeastern section of the Cloister. To reach it, you’ll need the Brawny trait or Engineering 4 to open the front door. Once inside, take the ladder on the left up to find a table containing the Sojourner’s Log – North.
If you need an alternate way to enter this building, head through the door on the back side. Go straight, heading up the rubble to find a vent.
Use this vent to reach the second level of the building. Exit via the door and swing left around the balcony to find another door leading into the building. From there, jump across the hole in the floor then climb the ladder to reach the log!
Sojourner’s Log – Northeast
You can find the Sojourner’s Log – Northeast in the eastern Excogitation Chapel, on a table on the second level. To unlock the door, you’ll need to defeat Buckshot Bill and loot the Chapel Keycard off of him. Alternatively, you can pick the lock on the door with Lockpick 17.
Sojourner’s Log – Southeast
This log can be found on a desk on the first floor of the southeastern Excogitation Chapel.
To reach this chapel, you’ll need to enter a cave and climb up the scaffolding. At the top, follow the path to reach the chapel!
Sojourner’s Log – Southwest
The last of the logs can be found in the southwestern Excogitation Chapel, located at the top of a mountain.
To reach it, you’ll need to complete the A Way Back to the Light side quest in the Cloister Underlands. This will have you activating the lifts, which will allow you to reach the chapel. The log will be on the first floor on a crate in the kitchen.
Find Someone in the Order Interested in the Audio Logs
This objective may be a little different if you spoke with Oracle Laureate Lesley Beckett in Laplace’s Garden to start this quest. He is the person who wants to take the logs. Head to Laplace’s Garden and speak with the oracle to hand over the logs.
After listening to them, he’ll be displeased and want to destroy them. If you have a high enough Speech skill, then you’ll be able to convince him to persevere them. Either way, the quest will be completed, and you’ll receive XP and a High Security Lockbox containing the Shadow Hacker.
