How to Start The Dawn of a Glorious Betrayal Side Quest
To begin The Dawn of a Glorious Betrayal side quest in The Outer Worlds 2, approach the northern side of the Decommissioned Autonomous Extractorium on the western side of Golden Ridge. Next, either head through the opening on the northern side and fight all the enemies inside head-on, or take the sneaky route.
If you wish to take the sneaky route, head toward the tram station then turn left to find a set of stacked blocks.
Use them to reach a metal walkway then climb up the ladder at the end. At the top, take a right, then climb up to the next level of the roof, where you’ll find the entrance to a vent in front of a lantern.
When you emerge, take a right and follow the pathway around to find Aza banging on the window.
When you find Aza on the second level of the building, interact with the door to unbar it. Speak with Aza, exhausting all her dialogue options. You’ll then have the opportunity to have her join your party!
Before leaving, you can pick up the Experimental Storage Locker Key from the table on the lower level of the north side of the building.
Use this key to open the container in the room with Aza to find the following: Death Sentence and Zyranium Filters.
The Dawn of a Glorious Betrayal Walkthrough
Kill all the Renegade Glorious Dawn Cultists at the N-Ray Range
For this objective, bring Aza with you during the Discrete Mathematics side quest, which is part of the On the Trail of the Traitor main quest. Once you’ve worked your way through the N-Ray Range, dealing with all of the renegade Glorious Dawn cultists, you’ll quickly figure out that the leader wasn’t there.
Check the Glorious Dawn Communication Device
Head over to the communication device on Sub-Level 2 of the N-Ray Range to get the coordinates of the renegade’s leader.
Kill Hierach Ziegler and the Last Remnants of the renegade Glorious Dawn Cell
When you’re ready to deal with Hierach Ziegler, travel to Paradise Island on Eden. After you arrive, you’ll want to head to a building north of the Excogitation Chapel, northeast of the Bridge of the Reverent.
Before heading up the tower, deal with the cultists on the outside. Make sure to use your scanner, as there are a few that are invisible.
At the top of the tower, you’ll find Hierach Ziegler. Speak with him to learn what’s going on before Aza kills him. Loot him afterwards to receive the Glorious Dawn Kill Order, bits, Aza’s Mod Kit, mag-pick, and numb rum. The quest will be completed once Ziegler falls!
