Andromon Overview (In-Game Profile)

Andromon is an Android Digimon with a humanoid shape. It’s powerful enough to take out any Digimon of less than Ultimate level with a single blow.

Developed as a prototype for Android Digimon, Andromon was created as a machine-based model at the same time Boltmon was made to be an organic one. The same techniques were then appropriated for use in other Digimon, including MetalGreymon and Megadramon. Since Andromon is a prototype, it lacks emotions and has no will of its own, acting only in accordance with its programming.

It uses its special move, Spiral Sword, to fire an energy blade from its arm.

Digivolution is the process that allows your Digimon to grow stronger and unlock new forms. Each Digivolution path has specific requirements, such as reaching a certain level, achieving a minimum stat threshold, or meeting personality and bond conditions.

Some Digimon also require special items or story progression to evolve. Choosing when and how to Digivolve is essential, since certain evolutions may branch into multiple options, giving you flexibility in shaping your partner’s role in battle.

De-Digivolution

In Digimon Story Time Stranger, de-digivolution allows you to return a Digimon to a previous form. Unlike standard digivolution, which requires stat thresholds and level milestones, de-digivolution has its own conditions. To de-digivolve a Digimon, one of the following requirements must be met:

  • Encounter requirement: The Target Digimon must have already been encountered at least once during your playthrough.
  • Personality requirement: The Target Digimon’s base Personality must match the current Digimon’s Personality.

Meeting either condition will unlock the option to de-digivolve, giving you more flexibility in reshaping your team and experimenting with different evolutionary paths.
