Digimon Story Time Stranger Flymon Field Guide

Flymon Overview (In-Game Profile)
A brutal Insecoid Digimon with massive wings. These wings allow Flymon to skirt through the air at ultrahigh speeds, creating sonic booms called “Howling Noise” in its wake that rob unlucky victims of their hearing.
Its body is protected by a tough carapace, and it pinches foes with its huge talons before killing them with the extra-potent venomous stinger on its tail. The Digivolution process of Insectoid Digimon is still unknown, but from its face, some have surmised that Flymon originally Digivolved from a Kunemon-type creature.
Its special move is Brown Stingers, which shoots a stinger from its tail that completely paralyzes the Digimon it pierces, turning it purple before ending its life. Incidentally, this nasty stinger can be regrown over and over again.

Flymon Digivolution
Digivolution is the process that allows your Digimon to grow stronger and unlock new forms. Each Digivolution path has specific requirements, such as reaching a certain level, achieving a minimum stat threshold, or meeting personality and bond conditions.
Some Digimon also require special items or story progression to evolve. Choosing when and how to Digivolve is essential, since certain evolutions may branch into multiple options, giving you flexibility in shaping your partner’s role in battle.
De-Digivolution
In Digimon Story Time Stranger, de-digivolution allows you to return a Digimon to a previous form. Unlike standard digivolution, which requires stat thresholds and level milestones, de-digivolution has its own conditions. To de-digivolve a Digimon, one of the following requirements must be met:
- Encounter requirement: The Target Digimon must have already been encountered at least once during your playthrough.
- Personality requirement: The Target Digimon’s base Personality must match the current Digimon’s Personality.
Meeting either condition will unlock the option to de-digivolve, giving you more flexibility in reshaping your team and experimenting with different evolutionary paths.
