Gekomon Overview (In-Game Profile)

An Amphibian Digimon that mesmerizes those around it with a cry altogether too pleasant for its strange appearance. The chords Gekomon plays with the three holes at the end of its tongue and the improvisations created on the horn wrapped around its neck can control its opponent’s feelings.

Rumor has it that it’s born when a hit song is created in composition software, making Gekomon a kind of status symbol among musicians around the world.

Its special move, Symphony Crusher, destroys the enemy’s insides with ultra-high frequency vibrations.

Gekomon Digivolution

Digivolution is the process that allows your Digimon to grow stronger and unlock new forms. Each Digivolution path has specific requirements, such as reaching a certain level, achieving a minimum stat threshold, or meeting personality and bond conditions.

Some Digimon also require special items or story progression to evolve. Choosing when and how to Digivolve is essential, since certain evolutions may branch into multiple options, giving you flexibility in shaping your partner’s role in battle.

De-Digivolution

In Digimon Story Time Stranger, de-digivolution allows you to return a Digimon to a previous form. Unlike standard digivolution, which requires stat thresholds and level milestones, de-digivolution has its own conditions. To de-digivolve a Digimon, one of the following requirements must be met:

  • Encounter requirement: The Target Digimon must have already been encountered at least once during your playthrough.
  • Personality requirement: The Target Digimon’s base Personality must match the current Digimon’s Personality.

Meeting either condition will unlock the option to de-digivolve, giving you more flexibility in reshaping your team and experimenting with different evolutionary paths.
