Bakemon Overview (In-Game Profile)
A Ghost Digimon with a cloth draped over it. Bakemon is a wicked being born of darkness, and is said to instantly destroy the systems of any computers it possesses. What lies beneath the cloth is a complete mystery, and there are theories that the shadow cast under its body is a black hole.
Bakemon lacks combat power and thus prefers not to attack its foes directly. Its special move, Death Charm, casts a powerful curse. Those lacking strong mental fortitude die in a matter of seconds under its effect.

Having the Virus attribute, Bakemon is weak to Digimon with the Vaccome attribute, while resisting those with the Data attribute.

Where to Find Bakemon
To add Bakemon as a partner in Digimon Story Time Stranger, you’ll need to find and scan this Digimon while exploring the Human and Digital Worlds. When you encounter the Digimon, the game will automatically scan it.
Once the scan percentage reaches 100%, you’ll be able to convert your own version of this Digimon. The scan percentage can go as high as 200%, and the closer you are to that maximum when converting, the higher the Digimon’s Max HP and Talent base stats will be.

Bakemon Digivolution
Digivolution is the process that allows your Digimon to grow stronger and unlock new forms. Each Digivolution path has specific requirements, such as reaching a certain level, achieving a minimum stat threshold, or meeting personality and bond conditions.
Some Digimon also require special items or story progression to evolve. Choosing when and how to Digivolve is essential, since certain evolutions may branch into multiple options, giving you flexibility in shaping your partner’s role in battle.
De-Digivolution
In Digimon Story Time Stranger, de-digivolution allows you to return a Digimon to a previous form. Unlike standard digivolution, which requires stat thresholds and level milestones, de-digivolution has its own conditions. To de-digivolve a Digimon, one of the following requirements must be met:
- Encounter requirement: The Target Digimon must have already been encountered at least once during your playthrough.
- Personality requirement: The Target Digimon’s base Personality must match the current Digimon’s Personality.
Meeting either condition will unlock the option to de-digivolve, giving you more flexibility in reshaping your team and experimenting with different evolutionary paths.

Digivolution
Digivolution is the process of evolving a Digimon into a stronger form. Each Digimon can evolve along multiple branches depending on its stats, level, and personality. To digivolve a Digimon, you must meet certain requirements.
