How to Start The Father of Shinjuku
To begin The Father of Shinjuku side mission, you’ll need to complete the following first:
- Reach The In-Between main mission
- Complete The Secret Getaway side mission
Once you meet the requirements, Hiroko will send you a Digiline message stating that she has booked a reservation with a famous fortune teller and invites the Agent along.
The Father of Shinjuku Side Mission Walkthrough
Talk to Hiroko Sagisaka
To meet up with Hiroko, travel to the Higashi-Shinjuku: Second Avenue in Higashi-Shinjuku. You’ll then want to head north and cross the intersection to reach the Coffee Shop, where she’ll be waiting. Speak with her to head inside and meet with the fortune teller.
After he reads Hiroko’s fortune, he’ll make a request of the Agent. Four Digimon have wandered from the Digital World and need help finding their way back.
Look for the Lost Digimon Under the Overbridge in Shinjuku
Exit the Coffee Shop and travel to the Seibu-Shinjuku: Overbridge East area in Higashi-Shinjuku. Once you arrive, head to the western side of the map and head to the center of the path between the north and south taxis, under the overpass.
You’ll spot a boy wearing a white T-shirt, jeans, and red shoes there. Speak with him, making sure to choose one of the first two options to locate and send the first Digimon home.
Look for the Lost Digimon Getting Hit On
Next up, travel to the Higashi-Shinjuku: Vision Square area in Higashi-Shinjuku. After you arrive, head to the eastern side of the area, near the taxi, to find a man wearing a blue shirt talking to a woman in a cream business suit.
Speak with the woman and choose one of the first two options. She will then reveal herself as a Digimon, resulting in her getting sent back home.
Look for the Lost Digimon at the East Gate
To find the third Digimon, you’ll need to travel back to Vision Square and head into Shinjuku Station in the southern part of the area. When you get inside, swing a right and head over to the Cool Time cafe.
Speak with the boy wearing a white shirt sitting there then choose one of the first two options. He’ll reveal himself to be a Digimon who will then be sent home.
Look for the Lost Digimon in a Black Box
The last missing Digimon can be found by traveling to the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building: Exterior area in Nishi-Shinjuku. Once you arrive, head to the black car, parked in front of the government building. Speak with the driver and be sure to choose one of the first two options. This will result in the Digimon revealing himself, allowing you to help send him home.
Report to the Fortune Teller
After you find all four of the missing Digimon, you’ll automatically speak with the Fortune Teller one last time, which will then complete the quest.
