Poyomon Overview (In-Game Profile)

This Digimon baby uses its translucent body to float along the Net Ocean like a jellyfish. Possessing the most primitive structural makeup of any Digimon discovered to date, it garners attention from Digital World anthropologists and Digimon fanatics alike.

They hail it as a “missing link,” potentially capable of unlocking the mystery behind Digimon generation. To protect itself from foes, Poyomon shoots Acid Bubbles from its mouth.

Once the scan percentage reaches 100%, you’ll be able to convert your own version of this Digimon. The scan percentage can go as high as 200%, and the closer you are to that maximum when converting, the higher the Digimon’s Max HP and Talent base stats will be.

You can find Poyomon at the listed locations:

Additionally, you can digivolve a lower-generation Digimon or de-digivolve a higher-generation Digimon into Poyomon. Refer to the Poyomon Digivolution section below for more information.

Poyomon Digivolution

Digivolution is the process that allows your Digimon to grow stronger and unlock new forms. Each Digivolution path has specific requirements, such as reaching a certain level, achieving a minimum stat threshold, or meeting personality and bond conditions.

Some Digimon also require special items or story progression to evolve. Choosing when and how to Digivolve is essential, since certain evolutions may branch into multiple options, giving you flexibility in shaping your partner’s role in battle.

De-Digivolution

In Digimon Story Time Stranger, de-digivolution allows you to return a Digimon to a previous form. Unlike standard digivolution, which requires stat thresholds and level milestones, de-digivolution has its own conditions. To de-digivolve a Digimon, one of the following requirements must be met:

  • Encounter requirement: The Target Digimon must have already been encountered at least once during your playthrough.
  • Personality requirement: The Target Digimon’s base Personality must match the current Digimon’s Personality.

Meeting either condition will unlock the option to de-digivolve, giving you more flexibility in reshaping your team and experimenting with different evolutionary paths.

Poyomon cannot de-digivolve because it has no previous forms.
